SaveFBS: Download Public Facebook Videos and Reels

Copy a public Facebook video link, paste it below, and check which download options are available. SaveFBS works in your browser, so there is no app or extension to install.

The tool is for public links only. It cannot open private, friends-only, deleted, or login-only content.

How to use SaveFBS

  1. 1Open the public Facebook video or Reel you want to save.
  2. 2Use Share or the three-dot menu, then choose Copy link.
  3. 3Paste the link into SaveFBS.
  4. 4Select Check download options.
  5. 5Choose one of the file options shown for that link.

Facebook links you can try

SaveFBS accepts Facebook, fb.com, and fb.watch links. These are the most common public link types:

  • Videos posted on public Facebook pages
  • Videos on public profiles
  • Public Facebook Reels
  • Facebook Watch videos
  • fb.watch share links
  • Recorded live videos that are still public

Where the file is saved

Most desktop and Android browsers save files in Downloads. On an iPhone or iPad, check the Files app first. Your browser settings may use a different folder.

Why a link may fail

The video may be private, removed, limited by age or region, or copied from the wrong screen. A public link can also fail for a short time when the source changes or the processing service is unavailable.

Please respect the creator

A download does not give you ownership of a video. Save only content you made, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to keep. Do not republish or sell somebody else's work without permission.
