How to Use SaveFBS on iPhone

Copy a public Facebook link, use SaveFBS in Safari, and find the downloaded video in the iPhone Files app.

You can use SaveFBS in Safari without installing another app. The part that often causes confusion is finding the file after Safari downloads it.

Copy the public Facebook link

Open the video or Reel in Facebook. Tap Share or the three-dot menu, then choose Copy link.

Make sure you copied the video link, not the creator's profile or a comment. A private or friends-only video will not work.

Paste it into SaveFBS

Open Safari and visit savefbs.site. Paste the address into the downloader and tap Check download options.

If SaveFBS returns files, choose the one you want. A clearer file uses more storage. A smaller file may be enough for phone viewing.

Find the file

Safari downloads usually appear in the Files app. Open Files and check Downloads or the folder selected in Safari settings.

If the file is a format supported by Photos, open it in Files, tap Share, and look for Save Video. The option may not appear for every file type.

If Safari opens the Facebook app

Return to Safari and paste the copied link directly into SaveFBS. You do not need to open the Facebook address in Safari first.

If no file appears

Copy the link again from the video itself. Check whether it opens in a private browser window while you are signed out. If it needs your Facebook account, SaveFBS cannot access it.

Save only content you created, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to keep.
