What SaveFBS Does
A clear look at the SaveFBS public Facebook video downloader, the links it accepts, and the limits users should know.
SaveFBS is a browser tool for public Facebook video links. You copy a video address, paste it into SaveFBS, and check which file options are available.
There is no SaveFBS account to create. The normal workflow does not ask for your Facebook username, password, or two-factor code.
Links you can try
The downloader accepts facebook.com, fb.com, and fb.watch addresses. These may point to a public post video, a public Reel, a Facebook Watch page, or a recorded live video that is still available.
The best link comes from the video itself. Open the video, use Share or the three-dot menu, and choose Copy link. A profile, comment, or feed address may not lead to the video file.
What happens after you paste a link
SaveFBS checks whether the address belongs to Facebook. The server then sends the public URL to a processing provider. If the provider returns usable media, SaveFBS lists the file choices on the page.
The result may contain one file or several quality levels. The tool cannot add an HD version if the public source does not provide one.
What SaveFBS cannot open
Private videos do not work. The same is true for friends-only posts, closed-group videos, removed content, and links that need your Facebook account.
This limit matters. SaveFBS does not use your personal Facebook access to get around another person's privacy settings.
Where the file goes
Desktop and Android browsers usually save downloads in a Downloads folder. On iPhone or iPad, check the Files app first. Your browser settings can change this location.
Use it with permission
A public video is still owned by its creator or rights holder. Download content you made, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to keep. Do not republish or sell another person's work just because a file was available.
