Why a Facebook Video Link May Not Work
Check privacy, the copied address, removed posts, region limits, and temporary service problems when SaveFBS cannot process a link.
A video can play in your Facebook account and still fail in a public downloader. Your account may have permission that SaveFBS does not have.
The video is not public
This is the most common reason. A friends-only post, closed-group video, private Reel, or account-only link cannot be opened by SaveFBS.
Open the link in a private browser window where you are not signed in. If Facebook asks you to log in, the video is probably not public.
The copied link points to the wrong place
A link from a profile, comment, search result, or feed may not point directly to the video.
Open the video on its own page. Use Share or the three-dot menu and choose Copy link. On desktop, you can also copy the full address from the browser bar.
The post changed
The creator may have deleted the video or changed its audience. Facebook can also limit a post by age or region. An old link may still exist even when the video file is no longer available to the public.
The service is temporarily unavailable
SaveFBS depends on a processing provider and the public source. Either service can change, slow down, or reject a request for a short time.
Wait a minute, copy the link again, and retry once. Repeatedly pressing the button will not fix a private or removed post.
The quality you wanted is missing
A working link may return only one file. HD appears only when the public source and processor provide an HD option.
What to try
Open the video fully.
Copy the link from the video Share menu.
Test whether the link opens while you are signed out.
Check that the address uses facebook.com, fb.com, or fb.watch.
Wait briefly if the page reports a processing problem.
If a public link still fails, contact SaveFBS and include the page, device, browser, and exact error. Do not send private links or account details.
